🗣 Vice-Chancellor’s Statement

Speaking at the press event, Professor Dr. Amanullah stated:

“For the past few years, students were admitted solely based on GPA scores, raising concerns about the quality of intake. This year, we’ve reinstated the admission test after ten years to ensure fair evaluation. No one can now say that NU students entered without proving themselves through exams.”

The last NU admission test was held in the 2014-15 academic year. From 2015-16 onwards, admissions were based only on SSC and HSC GPA scores. The 2024-25 academic year marks the return of direct entrance exams after eight years.
