DU Admission 2023-2024
After finishing the HSC exam, many students will look for information on Dhaka University Honours Admission. Below, you’ll find all the details about Dhaka University admission, including the publication date of the admission circular, admission requirements, application deadline, application process, admit card download instructions, and DU result for the academic year 2023-24. The DU admission form filling will commence in December 2023, and students can submit the online form until January 2024.

Admission Eligibility
For Ka/A Unit
- Students from the Science Group who passed SSC/equivalent in 2021 and HSC/equivalent in 2023 can apply.
- The minimum GPA requirement is 3.50 in both SSC and HSC/equivalent exams, with a total GPA up to 8.50 (including additional subjects).
For Kha/B Unit
- Humanities Group students who passed SSC/equivalent (in or next year) and HSC/equivalent in 2023 can apply.
- Minimum GPA requirement is 3.00 in each exam and a total GPA of 8.00 in both exams.
For Ga/C Unit
- Business Studies/A Level/Diploma in Business Studies/Business Management students at the Higher Secondary level can apply.
- Only those who passed SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent in 2023 can apply.
- The minimum GPA requirement is 3.5 in both SSC and HSC/equivalent exams, with a total GPA up to 8.00 (including additional subjects).
For Gha/D Unit
- SSC/equivalent pass from HSC (Humanities, Science, Business Education, Agricultural Science) in 2023 is eligible to apply.
- No applications accepted with less than ‘B’ grade (3.00) in any subject in HSC/equivalent.
- Humanities group students (including Madrasa Education Board) need a minimum GPA of 8.0 in SSC and HSC exams (including 4th subject).
- Business Education, Diploma-in-Business Studies, Diploma-in-Commerce, and Business Management group candidates should have a minimum GPA of 8.0 in both SSC and HSC/equivalent exams (including 4th subject).
- Science, Madrasa Education Board’s Science, Agricultural Science, and Home Economics group students need a minimum GPA of 8.5 in SSC and HSC exams (including 4th subject).
For Cha/F Unit
- SSC/equivalent pass from HSC (Humanities, Science, Business Education, Agricultural Science) in 2023 can apply.
- Candidates who passed HSC/equivalent in any group need a minimum GPA of 7.0 in SSC and HSC/equivalent exams (including 4th subject) to apply.
- If GPA is less than 3 in either level (SSC or HSC), application is not allowed.
Dhaka university admission form fill-up
If you want to apply for DU Honors Admission, follow these easy steps:
- Visit admission.eis.du.ac.bd
- Click on the login/apply button and provide your HSC roll, passing year, and board, along with your SSC roll. Click submit.
- After submitting, check your details and the eligible application unit. Click confirm.
- Provide your scanned photo, personal mobile number, and other information. Click confirm.
- To confirm your application, send an SMS to 16321.
- After sending the SMS, you’ll receive a 7-digit confirmation code. Enter the code and click confirm.
- You’ll receive a pay slip for payment. Download and print this copy for submission.
DU Admit Card 2024 Download
Once you finish the online application, Dhaka University will provide the Admit Card. A unique Admit Card will be issued for each unit, and candidates need to download a separate Admit Card for each applied unit. The notice for Admit Card Download will be published on the Admission Website. No SMS will be sent to the applicants’ mobile numbers. After the Dhaka University Admit Card is released, candidates can download it by logging in with their HSC and SSC exam credentials. The Admit Card will include the Admission Test Date and instructions.
Mark distribution and question pattern
Dhaka University’s admission authority changed how they give marks for admission. Now, they reduced the importance of MCQ and CGPA marks and gave more marks for the written exam. Dhaka University Admission Test 2023–24 will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. The exam will consist of MCQs and written (descriptive) questions. The total marks in the entrance exam will be 100. The MCQ of 60 marks and the written test of 40 marks will be accepted. There will be 45 minutes allotted for the MCQ exam and 45 minutes for the written exam. The admission test will be as per the syllabus of the Higher Secondary Examination 2023.

DU seat plan 2024
Before the Admission Test for each unit, Dhaka University will release the Seat Plan. It will provide detailed information. The DU Seat Plan will be available 48 hours (2 days) before each unit’s Admission Test. You can check the detailed Seat Plan by logging into the Admission Website. Alternatively, you can find it by following the SMS instructions mentioned on the Admission Test Admit Card.

ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ভর্তি ফি কত ২০২৩?
২০২২-২০২৩ শিক্ষাবর্ষে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অনার্সে ভর্তির আবেদন ফি নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে ১০০০ টাকা। সোনালী, জনতা, অগ্রণী ও রূপালী ব্যাংকের যেকোনো শাখায় কিংবা ডেবিট/ক্রেডিট কার্ডের মাধ্যমে অনলাইনে কিংবা মোবাইল ব্যাংকিংয়ের মাধ্যমে এই ফি জমা দিতে হবে।
