Primary teacher recruitment exam 2024 (First phase)

The first phase recruitment test for government primary school assistant teacher posts in Rangpur, Barishal, and Sylhet divisions will be held on 8 December from 10 am to 11 am. A total of 3,60,697 candidates will appear for the exam.

Primary and Mass Education Secretary Farid Ahmed said in press that the main person preparing the question paper is from outside the Directorate of Primary Education. This time, to avoid controversies, he has been kept in a certain room devoid of electronic devices. He will be kept there until the examination is over.

For the first time, with the technical support of BUET, the question papers have been printed under the control of the Bangladesh Army from its press.

After formulating a total of 18 sets of questions in each district, an official was given the responsibility of preparing the question paper through random selection.

The Department of Primary Education released the circular for hiring assistant teachers on Oct 20, 2020, to fill 32,0577 positions. Later, by adding another 5,000 positions, 37, 574 assistant teachers were recruited.
