Physical Endurance Test (PET) Dates

The Physical Endurance Test along with physical measurements and necessary documents assessment will begin from November 28 and continue until December 8 depending on applicants’ Districts and their divisions or police ranges.

Test Date for candidates of Dhaka Range or Division : For candidates from Dhaka, Narayanganj, Rajbari and Madaripur, PET test will take place on November 28 to 30; for candidates from the districts of Kishoreganj, Narsingdi, Gazipur and Gopanganj on December 2 to 4; for those from Tangail, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Faridpur & Shariyatpur on December 6 to 8. The test venue for candidates from all districts under Dhaka Range or division is Dhaka District Police Lines, Mill Barrack, Dhaka.

Test Date for candidates of Mymensingh Range or Division : For candidates from Mymensingh & Sherpur, PET test will take place on November 28 to 30 while for candidates from the districts of Jamalpur & Netrokona it is on December 2 to 4. The test venue for candidates from all districts under Mymensingh Range or division is Mymensingh District Police Lines, Mymensingh.

Test Date for candidates of Sylhet Range or Division : For candidates from Sylhet & Moulvibazar districts, PET test will be held on November 28 to 30 while for candidates from the districts of Habiganj & Sunamganj the test on December 2 to 4. Police SI salary and benefits

Finally selected candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police will receive the following benefits as per current recruitment policy :

  1. Upon completion of one (1) year Basic Training period, successful graduates will be employed as Apprentice Sub-Inspector of Police (non-armed) for a monthly pay of Tk. 38,640 along with other benefits according to 2015 National Pay Scale.
  2. Fee uniform, Risk Benefits, Medical Allowance and Rations for self & a specified number of family members, which depends on availability.
  3. High chance of participating in UN Peacekeeping Mission besides being promoted to higher positions as per the existing job policy.
